Rev. Friday A. Idawor is the senior Pastor/Founder of the Grace Fellowship Centre based in Ikorodu, Lagos, Nigeria.He hails from Edo state in Nigeria.
Pastor Friday received the Nigeria Baptist Convention Church Training Diploma in 1980. In 1985, he attended the Morris Cerullo School of ministry. In 1986, he obtained a Diploma from the All Nation for Christ Bible Institute, Benin City, and Nigeria, a school founded by the late Archbishop Benson E. Idahosa. He also attended the Church Administration and Management for Africa in 1994 to mention but a few.
Pastor Friday had his calling by God in a very dramatic visitation in the second quarter of 1979 when Christ appeared to him and healed him of ten-year illness. He is an ordained minister and has a heart for Evangelism and missions.
By God's divine working; a door of ministry to the United Kingdom was opened in 1995. Since then he has been going to England and also Belgium, Holland, Sweden, Denmark, Finland and U.S.A for the preaching of the gospel.
To date he is the author of five books. His messages on audio and videotapes have blessed many, he has also written many articles for different Christian magazines of other Churches/Ministries.
Over the years, Idawor Friday has held several Christian Leadership positions; he was a quest lecturer at the Ever increasing Word Ministries Bible School, Kwara state, also at the Tether Ministry Bible School in Borno State, both in Nigeria. He the vice chairman Christian Association of Nigeria {CAN} Ebute Zone and was the Secretary to the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) Ikorodu Central Zone between 1997/2000.
He was also the Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria from 1997/2000, Ikorodu. For his leadership contribution and involvement in Christian work, he has been appointed the Patron of the Christian Association of Nigeria, Ikorodu town. He is presently the chairman of Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, lkorodu Central Zone, in Lagos, Nigeria. He is also the President of Atte Christian Association in his home village since its inception in 1981.
