Darrel Stott was a pastor for 27 years in Canada and the United States before forming his own ministry, Compassion Outreach Ministries in 1998. In 1994 Darrel realized he was totally burnt out and was about to leave the ministry . . . BUT GOD . . . marvelously had another plan and touched Darrel with a fresh anointing of the Holy Spirit in an unbelievable way while visiting The Toronto Airport Christian Fellowship Church in Toronto, Canada.
In 1997, Darrel resigned his church and founded Compassion Outreach Ministries, beginning his full time world wide itinerate revival ministry. Darrel has ministered in Japan, India,Sri Lanka, Philippines, Australia,Mexico, Malaysia, Russia,Canada, Ukraine, Ireland,UK and Indonesia. He is called of God to prophecy to the nations and demonstrate the power of God.
Hurting people love Darrel. He presents a JESUS who brings hope to the hopeless with a message to each discouraged person to "Never give up!" For those who have been destroyed by sin Darrel comes to see Jesus bring restoration to their lives and ministry. To ministries that have been destroyed he comes to prophecy life back into them and so they can return back into their ministry.
He has a special anointing to those that have suffered molestation or rape. Hundreds of people who have been sexually traumatized have been healed of their trauma and bad memories through the name of Jesus!
Darrel is known for his love for hurting people. He attempts to create an atmosphere in the meeting which is conducive to what the Holy Spirit and angels enjoy. As he yields control to the Holy Spirit God will use him to capture the attention of those in the room. He teaches that "Yielding to the Holy Spirit" is not foolish but will result in you quickly moving to your potential.
As people yield to the Holy Spirit the Glory of God begins to manifest. People are overwhelmed with the peace and love of God. Physical and emotional miracles often begin to happen as angels come into the room. The burdens and problems leave and the Joy of the Lord is imparted in the meeting. Darrel is not ashamed to yield to the Holy Spirit. At times like this he usually will begin to prophecy under the anointing of God. His goal is to decrease so God can increase.
Darrel is also knows as a man who is called to be a forerunner ushering in the glory of God. He often sees the Glory of God as described in Ezekiel chapter 1. In the times of revelation Glory God will reveal to him Islands and cities where to go. When you hear him preach his favorite topics are either the person of Jesus or the Glory of God. People are often shocked as miraculous things often happen in the room when he talks about the Glory of God.
The purpose of Compassion Outreach Ministries is to let people in all parts of the world know that Jesus Christ loves them & has paid the price so they can have their sins forgiven. Jesus paid the price by dying on the cross so that He can now come and heal each persons sickness, rescues them from their sin and fill them His Holy Spirit and excessive JOY! People who feel like they are captives can be free those who are sad Jesus fills with His love and peace!
Darrel Stott's meetings are marked with an atmosphere of Gods love and His great plan for every person. He never prepares his sermons but believes he is called to prophecy the plan of God to those in the room and then expect God to confirm what he has prophesied with a demonstration of the power of Jesus Christ.
